Meet the Team

Robert Furneaux

Robert trained as a trade mark attorney (qualification in 1995) before qualifying as a solicitor in 1998. He specialises in brands and designs and has experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters. He headed the trade mark group at a large international IP firm and has taken cases to the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC), appeared before the Appointed Person in the UK, and appealed cases from EUIPO’s Board of Appeal to the European General Court.

He has worked in the UAE acting for international brand owners in anti-counterfeiting actions, qualified as a CEDR trained negotiator, been on the Council of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) and is a resident lecturer at Nottingham Law School teaching trainee trade mark attorneys as part of their UK qualification.

Rebecca Kaye

Rebecca is a dual qualified solicitor and chartered trade mark attorney who covers the full range of IP rights. Her goal is to work with clients to ensure their IP portfolios, policies and practices work and support their business goals.

Rebecca was on the Intellectual Property Regulation Board’s Disciplinary Panel for six years, is on the International Trade Mark Association’s Public Information Committee and is an expert on the European Commission-funded ASEAN IPR SME Helpdesk. Rebecca has a Certificate in Advanced Negotiation from CEDR, is a Trustee for the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust and is on the Antarctic Place-names Committee which considers proposals and makes recommendations for place names within the British Antarctic Territory.
